Monster

I came to be at legacy job search company Monster when the startup I worked for, Jobr, got acquired and became Monster’s native mobile app. During my tenure, I rose to become the Director of UX Engineering. I managed the UX team of designers and researchers, and was a prolific individual contributor.

I lead the design of the mobile app (iOS, Android), the web product, and the marketing site. I pitched major new features such as AI Practice Interviews before the age of LLMs. Other major contributions included creating and maintaining a design system that could be deployed across multiple brands that guided and mirrored the frontend system. Monster operates in many countries and languages, and is within a highly regulated category, so everything I made had to be strictly GDPR and AAA compliant.
